Just returning from an amazing nature trip to South Florida. One of the highlights was discovering nesting great blue herons with their newborns at the Wakodahachee Wetlands in Delray Beach, FL. The little chick just poked his head up as I was pressing my finger to take this image. There are several wetlands in this area with great bird watching.. I would also recommend Green Cay in Boynton Beach and the Loxahatchee Wildlife Refuge(also near Delray Beach).
