Last summer I took a long hike up to the top of the Sangre de Christo mountains. I hiked to the peak overlooking the Santa Fe Ski Basin. It was one of those days when I felt like I had the whole wolrld to myself as I did not see a single human being. I never felt alone for even a moment though, and I even found company to have lunch with. As I sat on some rocks nearby, this little guy had no problem joining me for a snack on this beautiful summer afternoon.
